Ang Mga Tips for A Lasting Relationship

Every one has their own reasons for staying in a relationship... Everyone has their own reason to love... Has their own reasons in staying in love and loosing their love... I have my fair share of broken relationships. I have failed and fell flat of my face but in spite of all the heartaches, the humiliation and the disappointments. I still believe that love is a wonderful thing and that it is the most powerful thing in the world. It could turn mountains in to dust and can turn even the ugliest thing in the world in to something beautiful.

In a world where failed relationships and marriage is no longer new but has become a part of life already it is nice to see old couples still in love with each other even how much trials they have overcome.
My Auntie Aurora(breast cancer survivor) and Uncle Alfred(who was also a survivor and spent months in ICU but recovered) has been married for 36 years old. They are already 72 years old and still in love.

I have admired their relationship for years and they are like a beacon of hope for me. They are a living proof that a relationship and marriage could last. I apologize for the long introduction it's just that i am really moved by their love and devotion for each other.

I did not ask them directly about how they manage to make their love lasts and why they are still together but this is what I've observed:
  1. Submission - One of the couple should submit his or her self to their partner. This avoid conflicts or discussion since there cannot be two masters in a relationship. In their case my Auntie submits to what my Uncle wants. She still have a say on the decisions of course but she gives importance to what my Uncle wants. If they both agree on a decision then they do it. But the good thing is that my Uncle listen to what my Aunt tells him and adjusts if he thinks that what she is saying is also okay.
  2. Acceptance - The couple should accept their partner as a whole. You cannot be in a relationship if you're mission in life is to change your partner or expect him or her to change for you. You have to love everything their good traits and their bad traits. They both accept each other for everything they have.
  3. Support - You must always support your partner. In some relationship their partner is the number one detractor or their number one enemy. You must not speak ill comment against each other especially with close friends and relatives. Most common cause of a failure of a relationship is because of the people around you especially if you listen to what others say about your partner. You must always have their back even if you don't sometimes agree with them. Your role as a partner is to be their "go to person". If ever my Uncle says something offending my Aunt would always explain that my Uncle is a good person and that he just cares for us and giving his honest opinion.
  4. Appreciation - You should always appreciate what your partner has done for you instead of thinking what he or she had done wrong or their shortcomings. They both never stop saying thank you and showing gratitude to each other even for the simplest and smallest things.
  5. Priority - Your priority should always be your partner. My Aunt has a already have a weak knees but she will let my uncle sit first instead of her. And my Uncle has a problem with his eyes but he will still try to do things for my Aunt or when eating he will say to my Aunt "Darling don't worry about me you eat already. I can't eat if your not beside me."
  6. Dedication -You should dedicate your self to loving and serving your partner. My Aunt has dedicated herself on taking care of my uncle without complaints and my Uncle has dedicated himself in loving my Aunt.
  7. Courtship - This should never stop even though you see each other day and night or even how many years you are together. My Uncle always tell my Aunt how beautiful she is or sings to her. She would ask us to buy things for my Aunt or do things for her because she likes it. She will always find a way to make my Aunt feel special. My uncle even made this compilation of their pictures together with quotes of love and relationship as a dedication for my auntie. He did this even he has difficulty seeing things. And there are even some pictures that she cut out a picture of my aunt and join it with his pictures because he always wants their picture to be together.
  8. Humor - They have a sense of humor. They always try to make each other laugh or happy. When you are with them you will feel that they are really happy together.

Ang Mga Tips In Preparing For A Wedding - Part 2(Suppliers)

If you want to have a memorable wedding then you need to invest on the suppliers. I used the word "investment" because in my opinion this is an investment on your precious moments on your memorable day. And that is PRICELESS!!! You would want to show something that you could be proud of to your friends, relatives and even your grandchildren.

If you use cheap suppliers then your wedding would look cheap and even how much you try to justify it the bottom line is that your special day would still be considered as a cheap wedding. I know it's not how it supposed to be but reality is that's how people think. Your visitors and everyone who sees your wedding video and pictures would judge you and your wedding based on the quality of your suppliers. There are some suppliers who are not too expensive but not too cheap but it's worth it!

Even how much you plan everything and even how efficient your planner is if your suppliers are unreliable then expect glitches in your wedding day. Glitches that could ruin this memorable occasion. So what are the things to do when selecting a supplier.
  1. Do your homework!!! - Do your homework and research who are the available suppliers in the market. There are good wedding magazines where you could see sample works of suppliers and a list of wedding suppliers with contact details. The best way to conduct this research is to attend wedding expos like the ones hosted by themes and motifs or weddings at works. There you would find reliable suppliers and be able to see their works at their exhibits. And the best part is that most of the time they give discounts or freebies during this events.
  2. Referrals - I'm sure you have attended a wedding and you liked the bride's make-up or the bride's gown. Or loved the food during the reception that you even made several trips back to the buffet table. Contact the couple and ask their suppliers info or better yet ask them to refer you to them. Sometimes suppliers gives favors to the people who where referred to by their previous clients.
  3. Ask and expert - Consult your wedding planner. From the moment you hired a planner up to after the wedding they are your next best friend! Because they would be there to do your bidding and ensure that you have a wonderful wedding.  Almost most of the time wedding planners would only recommend those suppliers they know who are reliable and they have already proven or have a good working relationship with. Because it's their reputation who is on the line too. They would even bring you to their suppliers offices or schedule a supplier meeting where all the suppliers they want to recommend would go and visit you. It would be like doing a job interview with your suppliers.
  4. Get to know the suppliers - Most of the time the owners are the one you would meet with you. So take your time and get to know them. If you don't feel good about them don't get them. You would want to have a stress free wedding. It's very important that you have a good vibes with your supplier especially the following:
  • Designer/Cotourier - On your wedding day you are the star and your wedding dress is your outfit . It's the designers job to make you standout on your special day. You would be the center of their masterpiece. They would build their entire design based on your body structure.

  • Make-up Artist - On your wedding day they are the one who keeps you fresh looking and beautiful. You are simply their masterpiece.

  • Photographer - Aside from the wedding planner they are the ones who you would be working with a lot. Your wedding is a live shooting. They would be directing you on how to look good on the pictures and make your wedding day more memorable. This day you are a celebrity! With all the glamour and attention the reality is it's not easy to be on your wedding clothes and move around and do a photo shoot. A good photographer can make you feel good! But a great photographer can make you feel good the entire wedding.

Take your time in finding the right supplier for you. It's important that you feel good about them and you are confident that will do a good job. You have waited for a long time for this and you deserve the best!

This is supposed to be a 2 parts post but while writing this there are a lot of things that came to my mind that I think are very important in preparing for a wedding. Ang Mga Tips In Choosing a Prenup Photoshoot Location

Ang Mga Tips In Choosing A Prenup Photoshoot Location

Prenup or Pre Nuptial Photo shoot  is one of the most important milestone in a wedding event. It doesn't happen on the actual wedding day but this is the teaser for your wedding.

Prenup is all about the couple. This is the reflection of the couple's personality. Their creativity, and their relationship. This pictures the time to show your friends and family how much you love each other. How much you enjoy each other and the things you enjoy doing.

So here's some tips to help you decide on the place for your prenup photo shoot:

  1. Memorable Location - You can select a memorable place for both of you. It could either be the place where you first met, your first kiss or place you love go to.

  3. Concept Location - This is your time to make that dream come true! You can choose a character or an era and you can do role playing. Don't worry your friends would not make fun of you they'll understand they know it's for your wedding.
  4. Expert's Choice - If you really don't have a preferred location then you can always ask your wedding planner or your photographer to suggest on where is the best location. They know lots of good locations that would fit your personality as they see you.

Ang Mga Tips In Preparing For A Wedding - Part 1

Ang Mga Tips In Preparing For A Wedding - Part1

All our life we waited for this moment wherein you will solidify the vow of everlasting love with the partner you have chosen. We want that day to be perfect! A day we will always remember for the rest of our lives. But reality is there would always be glitches and unforeseen hassles during that wedding day. Some proxy Godmother would show up not wearing the motif of the wedding standing out from the rest or some delay with the food, etc.

So how can we eliminate this problems? How can we make things run smoothly. It all falls down on proper wedding planning.
  1. Deciding on a decent budget. -  This is very important since this would determine which suppliers you would choose for the wedding. If you want a simple wedding you have to prepare at least 50-100k budget. If you want a good wedding then you would need to need to prepare 300-500k budget. But if you want a grand wedding with all those beautiful things you need to prepare at least 800k or more for the budget. Reality is when you are near to the actual wedding your budget would sometimes double. Whatever  your budget is you have to ask yourself this two questions:
    1. This is a once in a lifetime event. An event that i would be looking back 30-50 years from now. How much am i willing to spend for this?
    2. After the wedding what financial situation would i be in? Will I be broke? or would I have a decent life after?
  2. Get a Wedding Planner! - It's true that you want to save money and you think you don't need this. But that's the common mistake! Wedding planners would dictate the success and failure of your wedding. I have seen so many weddings that things could have been okay if there is just a wedding planner. You don't want to look so harassed during your wedding day. You don't want your family and friends to be so haggard on your wedding day as well. Nowadays you could get a decent wedding planner for 10-15k. You can even have an on the day wedding planner if your budget is really constrained. Don't stress yourself and your family on your special day. Get a Wedding Planner.
  3. Theme of the wedding. It's your day! So you can do whatever you want! On this day your friends and family would turn soft and would make a fool of themselves just for you. Because it's your day! It's better than your birthday! So whatever the two of you feel comfortable and want your wedding to look like then do it. Just be prepared to shoulder most of the cost for the costumes for this to fit your theme. Ask yourselves this:
    1. How do I want to see me and my fiance during our wedding? How do I envision ourselves? It could be walking down the aisle or you can even be dropping from a plane. Important is how do you want it to be.
    2. Envision yourself, your family and friends following your theme for the wedding. Ask yourself if you will be able to pull this of? Will you be able to go through with it on your wedding day?
  4. Place of the wedding. There are two important locations for this:
    1. Wedding Ceremony - This would be dependent on your religion and your theme. Go around and look for that perfect place for you. It could be either your childhood dream wedding ceremony location or a place wherein when you saw it you knew that this is it...
    2. Reception - It would be a lot more smoother and better if you choose a reception area that is close to the Wedding ceremony place. There are some wedding venues that has chapels already. This would make things easier for you and all your guests. Or just a 15 minutes ride. You would not want your guests not attending your reception because they are an hour or more apart. Most of the time they would either just attend your wedding ceremony or at the reception. You would not want to be rushing or getting stuck in traffic or rush hour because of the distance.

So that's the first part on Part 2 we will talk about tips on choosing a supplier for your wedding.

Party In My Dorm Game Start-up Tips

Party In My Dorm Game Start-Up Tips

Party In my Dorm or better known as PIMD is one of the most popular games in Itunes store. It's FREE so there is no cost to play.

So for those who are just starting - up here's some tips:

  1. Dorms - Invest on 6 Dorms then stop.
  2. Roommates - At first buy the 1k worth crew but don't upgrade them then you might want to save up until you can buy McFlaunty which costs 225,000 and upgrade him to level 4 if you want to concentrate on strength or the Computer Hacker for intelligence. To know more about this visit the Guide to Crew/Upgrading.
  3. Money Making
    1. Jobs - Do this since you in the beginning this is the best way to earn money.
    2. Tutors or Tuts - Hire tuts to increase your bonus from jobs and battle.
    3. Volley - Announce in campus that you are new and they would volley you. Volley means many people would hire you and somebody would keep you and groom you to be their active tuts. This would give you lots of money. When this happens wait for the volley to finish before buying or upgrading usually this just takes 15-30 minutes. Usually they would volley you up to 20-30 million which would give you lots of money. Or sometimes it would reach higher. This would make you rich if it does.
    4. Farming - Once you reach at least 2kcs. KCS means Thousand Combine Stats meaning Strength and Intelligence. The person or student who kept you would give you a name to farm wherein you can get money regularly. This are usually inactive players that is being used as a ATM.
    5. Wars - Once you upgraded you could join a club and join the wars. This allows you to attack other opposing club members without them getting mad at you. And you will get a big bonus at the end of the war.

I guess that's covers pretty much the basics. Let me know if you can suggest something better so that I could update this entry.

My next topic about this would be about which to choose to upgrade intelligence or strength.
